US Inventor is pleased to support the Balancing Incentives Act (BIA), H.R.8132 by Representative Marcy Kaptur (D-OH). The legislation will require the patent owner’s consent in order for a PTAB petition to be considered. HR 8132 will bring back the right to a jury trial, and encourage the PTAB to become a fair venue for all parties involved.
US Inventor is pleased to support the Restoring America’s Leadership in Innovation Act (RALIA), H.R.8134 by Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY). The legislation will put a halt to and reverse many of the adverse changes that have befallen our once-great patent system. H.R.8134 will bring justice for inventors, and promote innovation, the very lifeblood of the American economy.
